SIGNING UP FOR CSA BASKETS

A CSA Membership Contract, Membership Form and sign up fee must be completed prior to starting our CSA program. Once the forms are printed and filled out, email seasonsinthesunfarms@gmail.com to ensure your account is setup correctly.

CSA Baskets are billed monthly, along with delivery or pick-up fees, as applicable. A commitment of one growing season is required when you sign up for the service. The one-time sign up fee is $30.00. CSA basket prices range from $25.00, $37.50 or $49.00 weekly.  You can join the CSA Program at any time.  It is not necessary to start at the beginning of a season. However, if we do not receive notice within 30 days of the end of a season that you wish to drop out, your contract will automatically roll over into the next season.

ADD-ON ITEMS:

On Friday of each week we issue a list of available ADD-ON Items on this website that can be included with your basket for the following week. The form below must be filled out and sent to us by Monday at 8:00 a.m. in order to be included in your next order. The list usually includes items such as eggs, extra cheese or butter, extra bread, honey, fresh meats, canned foods, extra fruits/vegetables etc.

SUBSTITUTE ITEMS:

Seasons in the Sun Farm takes pride in providing our customers with fresh, healthy items in their CSA baskets. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we occasionally must supplement and substitute items to provide the freshest CSA basket possible. Chickens in particular are not consistent in their egg laying output; therefore, we cannot guarantee that eggs will be available every week. Other items include: honey, flowers, and bread. But when things are not available, we do substitute in order to keep the money correct for what you are paying for your CSA.

PICKUP LOCATIONS & HOME DELIVERY:

For our customer's convenience. Seasons in the Sun Farm has set up pickup locations in several area locations. The pickup location and delivery fees are invoiced monthly for the upcoming month. There is no charge if you prefer to pickup your basket at the farm.  Home delivery is available in the Spanish Fort, Daphne, Mobile and Fairhope areas. For home delivery customers, we ask that you put a cooler with frozen packs at a pre-designated area so that your food items remain fresh.

Baldwin County and Florida deliveries are made on Wednesday. Mobile County and Mississippi deliveries are made on Thurday. Farm pick up is on Friday.

FARM RULES

To ensure the safety of our guests and our animals we ask that you follow a few rules. Children must be attended to at all times and with an adult. They are expected to behave in an appropriate manner. No one is allowed to touch or handle farm animals without farm personnel present. At NO TIME will harrassment of the animals be allowed - this includes chasing them. Chasing animals is very serious--chickens will stop laying eggs and bunnies can have a heart attack. You will be asked to leave if we feel that your or our animals safety is in jeopardy. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.


TRIAL BASKETS

Trial baskets must be reserved the Monday before deliveries are made. Trial baskets start at $30 + delivery fees and do not include cheese or butter.  If you are interested in trying out the service, please fill out the trial basket form found below and email to seasonsinthesunfarms@gmail.com or call 251-423-4381.  You are welcome to purchase butter, cheese, honey, flowers, etc from our add on form and add it to your trial basket.

OPTING-OUT & VACATIONS

Once a season you are allowed to opt-out of purchasing your basket.  Should you require more than one week you will be charged and your basket will be donated locally. Our farm depends upon the consistency of it's members to survive; therefore, we must adhere to this policy.

HOLIDAY SCHEDULES

For Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve and 4th of July, Seasons in the Sun will not be open the week of the applicable holiday. To make up for the missing week of delivery we will increase the quantity of your baskets for the other weeks in July, November, December and January.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Seasons in the Sun Farm accepts Visa, Mastercard and Discover cards. Credit cards are autodrafted once a month for the upcoming month. We also accepts personal checks and cash for farm pickup orders only.
